As a woman with Type 4 hair, I often felt unseen in Germany—whether in stores or in the way people talked about hair like mine. Words like “kinky” or “nappy” made me question my beauty. And the products on the shelves? They often left my coils dry, tangled, and hard to manage.

Zamata was born out of that frustration—and out of the love I rediscovered for my natural hair.
